About our flight simulator

Every couple of weeks, cadets get the opportunity to try the squadron’s flight simulator. Using Microsoft Flight Simulator, we accompany this with a VR headset to make it feel as close to the real thing as you can get in the centre of Warrington!

Cadets learn how to take off and land successfully using peddles and throttle. This experience is part of our ongoing training during parade nights, during which cadets learn all aspects of life in the RAF.
