Knife Crime Awareness Night

Carl visited from the Daniel Fox Foundation this evening.

He spoke to the cadets and recruits about Daniel’s story – Daniel was Carls step son’s and he was tragically murdered on a night out aged just 29 years old.

Carl talked to the cadets about why people carry knives, the law, the choices people have make, different types of offensive weapons and the penalties for people who carry knives.

The main message was that we all duty we have to speak up and how knife crime doesn’t just affect the victim. A criminal record means that a stupid simple decision could affects the rest of your life including travel and work etc.
