Extra Information – The Recruit Training Package
All training offered by the Air Training Corps provides evidence for the award of the BTEC Aviation Studies, equivalent to 4 x A*-C GCSE’s. Evidence building towards this award starts immediately. Your child will take part in aviation, fieldcraft, adventure training, first aid and drill training and will work together with other recruits as an ‘Intake’. The Intake will move forward together towards their ‘Pass Out Parade’ that you will be invited to attend that will see the completion of their recruit training and acceptance, formally, into the Squadron. A new recruit takes 6 months typically to complete the training.
